I wouldn't say something wrong seen people waited for longer and got approved just a matter of time surely he well hear positive news soon.

Hey guys

Dont know if I should celebrate just yet...I called my council today...gave the old HO ref..number....that didn't match but the helpful council worker after checking my surname said that I can book my ceremony...So I assume that my application is approved...not received my letter yet...

Simple and straight forward joint application....No conviction, total 170 days out of country in 6 years. Full time job throughout...only two addresses in six years......Not sure why there is delay...now stopped thinkining that I will sorted soon...

Just saw in the nat timelines thread an application made on 1/8/2011 was approved and letter recvd 30/09/2011...

Anyone else applied in Aug who've recvd the approval?

The same here. Applied beginning of july and I have not received any answer. I called HO and record message still on....

I supposed we just need o wait, let us know if you get any reply...

thx, anyone else applied in April/May/June and still hasn't got his letter ? this would help us know if those months have been cleared. I applied in mid-July and I know for sure (after calling HO) that I won't hear their decision before mid-October. so it looks like the majority of applications are taking 3-4 months to be approved, even though a few people got their letters well before that horizon.

its used to be quicker (6 week) back in april since then fee has been increased the time is increased aswel mine application took excetly 3 months so its normal now dont worry you will get your brown letter soon goodluck.

the average is around 3-4 months with the exception of few unfortunate ppl who waiting for more than 5 months and some lucky once receiving approval in less than 2 months... overall avg still seems to be 3-4 months...

Waiting for my wife's from Aug; not expecting to hear anything till next month...
