Congrats to all those who have got their visa.

@King2be- If u'v had no communication prior to marriage, i'd suggest u leave it at that- - U'd be better off providing a reasonable explanation in ur supporting letter as to why there was no communication i.e cultural/religious reasons- Hopefully that will prove satisfactory. Having said that, it all appears to be a gamble...you just dont't know what will be acceptable to them?! However u'v got to do what feels right for you

Having a particularly bad day today-Iv lost all hope in the immigration system. Iv spent over 5 years apart from my spouse and was trying to convince myself that another few months wont do me any harm but this whole visa/apeal malarky definitely takes its toll on you!

Feels highly unfair that just because a small minority of people are reckless enuf to abuse the immigration system, it appears that we are paying for their mistakes. Where is the sense in that??

Be Careful about using Agents in Pakistan: It is well known fact that certain agents cannot be trusted and have known to have ripped some people of money and have provided them with little or no service. If you are willing to pay a fee for professional advice, then use the Immigration Advisory Service in Pakistan. They can be found in Karachi, Lahore and Mirpur : http://www.iasuk.org/contact-us.aspx

Batley that website cannot be found.

Have you got another link?

Wanted to know..

Is the biometrics test conducted at a seperate appointment just like the TB test?

Or is the biometrics done at the same spot where we will submit the case(same day)?

Don't worry! Have you submitted Urdu, English and Nadra Nikah Nama? The Urdu should have union council stamp on it, english - stamped confirming correct translation and original Nadra.

Has Embassy contacted your hubby? If not, then dont worry and tell him to speak to Union Council and find out what is wrong.

My Nikah Nama only had Union Council stamp on it. I note you have had it attested from Ministry of foreign affairs, there is no harm in that so don't worry. InshAllah all will be fine.
