Experience as senior/specialist position

Post by alexkutty » Wed Jul 14, 2004 10:38 am

I have total 14 years IT experience including Five and half years as Senior IT Support engineer. Some sentences from my experience certificate follows.

(November 1995 ? October 1998 as IT/CAD Support Staff
October 1998 to the present as Senior IT Support Engineer

He has been reporting directly to me for much of this period and I have always found him to be a conscientious and hardworking professional. While at this period company implemented its Area network infrastructure under his supervision as an IT team leader.

He has posses a strong commercial acumen and a good knowledge of the IT Market in U.A.E. He has also a great support for our AutoCAD team.

General Manager)

Is this is enough for getting 50 points.

If anybody can tell examples of senior/specialist positions in IT will be helpful.[/quote]

14 yrs..
I think you can claim 50. No harm in trying if you are already getting 65.
The only thing is which proof you are going to show for it.

I think you are going to need much more than this letter to get senior level points. Pls read guidance notes, they expect you to be at least a deptt head and also want to know how many people you've been heading over the 5 yr period.

I quote from guidance notes :

Senior level work experience would normally be a role at board level in a small company, in a larger business it could amount to a department head or leader of a project management team.
