JUst seen a post on forum relating to rejection of the tier 2 visa due to applying for the visa before the 3 months.

Reading that i am very much concerned about my application .I applied for my tier 2 visa last week on the 7th of october. The COS was issued on the 20th sept 2011 it has a start date of the 1st of october, My visa expires on the 23rd of october 2011.

As per tier 2 guidance policy it states that the applicant must apply within 3 months from the date the COS was issued and should apply no more than 3 months before the start date on the COS. As I applied for the tier 2 visa on the 7th of October and the COS start date if 1st of October I would like to know if this application is still valid?? or the COS is expired??

Your CoS is still valid.

Thanks for the info ..... really appreciate that ... i have also emailed PBS to double check otherwise ill ring them if they dont come back to me
