How long are new citizenship applications from June 2011 currently taking, does anyone know? Is it 6 months or more?

Thanks

To be honest I am not sure and still very confused
My wife has applied as Spouse of Irish.
A friend of mine applied on the same basis in March 2011 and got approved in July 201!!

The good thing with my wife's application is that she received the application reference number 5 days after she applied

We hope it won't take long

I am not here to debate any claim. But 3 months:-) i can't fall for it.
I received my acknowledgement letter and it says that 26 months. I got it two in Aug. However, from next year onwards it will take 6 months

26 month is just the stardard maximum time they're not obliged to spend 26 month when garda report could be obtain right infront of them as per vetting office files, and however, it depends on the police of your community trying to block immigrant, because they know how to protect themself and their jobs while the immigrants did not know that either.
