Thanks Jambo for answering coolrock queries.

I have only one comment on 1.9.

In my case I have left it blank and I have wrote a letter along with application saying below - my application got success.

We (both parents) are Indian Citizens, however as per Indian Citizenship law, from 3-Dec-2004 onwards, child born outside India to Indian Parents shall not be an ‘Indian’ national by Birth.

To be honest, case worker really wont worry about current nationality. However we better take care of it as we are paying nearly £600

Cheers,

I am planning to register my daughter as soon as I get my ILR while my wife's FLR is still under process.

Do I require my wife's passport as well for registering my daughter or will my passport alone suffice? Please advice.
this post suggests your passport would enough.

Thanks for the information.

But I have question on gentlejuke's post, if we leave nationality section blank and quote as gentlejuke mentioned, arent we saying that the child is stateless?

Can someone advice please?

Child born abroad to Indian Parents is stateless nationality until you register for any specific nationality.

However. form to be used for BC registration is MN1, but not S2 or S3 because child is applying BC under section 1(3), so it should use MN1.
I have got same response from Forum, and also from UK Natinality Enquiries @ 0845 010 5200
