I've noticed the processing time have finally updated for August now. Looks a bit better for those of you still waiting.

Hi Chimpee,

Thanks for you advice. I have found a big list of questions over the internet. We both are going through this now.

Its just that, its awefully scary and stressful, the period to the interview. I cant wait for all this to be over.

Just praying to God relentlessly.

Hey all,

Just letting you know that my husband received a text today stating.. 'Your passport is ready for collection; please visit the uk visa application centre where you submitted your visa application to collect the same'

I am 100% certain as it will be a refusal as it has only been a month since my husband submitted the file at VFS - Jalandhar.. He is going in a few hours to pick it up. Can only wait and see what happens now I guess..

Mine too ,received so fast . Seems the number of applcations was low . Good luck and prayers .

yep . it was settlement visa . Me too applied in the start of Sep . Good luck . Update as the status as soon as you get it .. my prayers

Appled on sep 09 at VFS cochin... the processing centre is chennai though ... . I Just back after collecting my visa , a few hours ago .No need for any sorry , I do know the tension . My heart was pubmbing so fast ..... when i received the packet .... lemme know if you need any further help

That was very fast. I never knew they could do it that fast. My husband applied a week after u at the jalandhar office. He's waiting there now in the queue.. Fingers crossed.

When r u coming to the uk then? U must be so happy..

Yep feeling so happy and moreover relaxed . ..

My application budle was soo big .... Included almost all possible documents like

her job contarct ,salary slip , P60 , letter from landlord,tenanacy , property reg document ,

my resume ,my work exp certificate,possible job opprtunites from various job websites in uk , covering letter from both of us ..

Our 3 year long call list (calleasy.com was like 40 pages or so) .... greeting cards ... order recepits of gifts send to her by me using amazon ... and so on ....

hope he will get his visa soon .. I will be travelling in the next week or so ..most probably on friday .. on emirates .. from cochin-dubai-london Gatwick

Yh we included a massive file too. We included everything. I didn't wana miss anything out. I feel so nervous right now.. I'm at work and I can't concentrate :(

I applied at VFS Delhi on October 5. It was forwarded to them same day and it went under process from October 10...

Keeping finger crossed... Praying for you as well...
