The A1 test, what mark do you need for it be accepted? Is it a case of just a pass and fail or is there a grading system?

Another very basic question but I suppose no harm in asking. When these authorities talk in terms of weeks ie. 12 weeks for response to an application etc, are the working day weeks ie Mon-Fri, or are they claendar weeks? ie Mon-Sun.

@King2be98: 12 weeks means working days only i.e Monday to Friday, THEY ONLY COUNT 5 DAYS IN A WEEK. And i am not sure about A1 test, sorry.

What do I need to have included in my letter of employement? Job title, salary, duration of employment. Anything else? And who do I get my employer to address this letter to?

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

hi Visa231

You need to ask employer to address it to whom it may concern and put your full name, national insurance number, address, when you started work, whether full time, hourly/gross pay, job title and will continue working for them.

King2be

It states on test whether you have passed with marks. If you fail they will not give you a certificate. You need certificate to submit therefore need to pass.

Read this every1 its about Nikah Namas
http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/siteco ... ikah-namas
What about the poeple in AJK I think thier is no union Council thier what do they have to register to is says the nikah namas have to be registered and endorsed by the appropriate Union Council.
What does that mean for the people of AJK

cong ABS11 bro .
think BHC Islamabad has different processing time for both female and male applicants . female applicants getting their visas in 2-4 weeks n male applicants have to wait for 2-3 months . its not fair .
i submitted my application on 07/09 /2011
under process at BHC since 20/09/2011.
no new news :( :(

Is this actually correct?

Whilst it's complete unfair to treat both genders differently, is there evidence of this?

One young lady that I helped with her file preparation got her visa in less than 3 weeks. That is the fastest I have come across :D

I am of the belief that wives coming to this country, do not pose as much problems as husbands, as husbands are likely to take jobs, where wives will almost certainly stay at home to look after family rather than get jobs which would have normally gone to the British residents of this country and not foreigners as most people in this country seems to think

yes i think its correct . if you have a look on this thread /board you can see it . most of the female applicants got decisions with 2-4 weeks n gt visas. while unfortunately male applicants replied by BHC islamabad in 2-3 months .

Lets hope the same vibe is rubbed on the rest of us. I will be submitting my wifes Visa towards end of Januray (depending ig age law chanes). If not then in April. Thinking of popping down pak myself. If i take the papers myself is that a thing not to be questioned about???
