Tier 1 (G) Dependant Visa Process for Adopted Kid

Post by UKVisit » Thu Oct 20, 2011 7:17 pm

Hi,

I have adopted my sister's son who already has passport having parental details of my sister and bother-in-law. I have all the adoptation papers.

Would it be possible to apply his dependant Visa with existing passport while I will present adoptation papers?

What were the circumstances of the adoption? Is your sister alive but incapable of supporting this child?

My nephew was attached with me from start and I want to keep him with me. There is nothing as such unusual to adopt him except that I want to keep him with me.

May this be a problem?

You have no chance of settling this child in the UK under the present circumstances.
