hey folks,

Does anyone know of any late 2008 applicants approval?

I was told that my application had been sent to Minister's office last week.Applied in Oct 2008 and sent further docs in June 2010 after they were requested by Dept..

Cheers jangs, I'm in the same boat. They are telling that my file is with minister for at least 5 weeks now. Don't know when they will be processed.

Just a quick question for you guys, since you're farther along in the wait than I am- do you write to INIS to find out the status of your application? Or do they send out any info when it goes to the minister? I've heard trying to phone is pointless.
I've not been waiting that long yet, so I won't even bother enquiring for another while, but just wondering how you went about it.

Had sent a letter but it's of no use. Just got the standard response back saying we are processing all applications......

Then finally decided to call them during first week of March, when they mentioned the file has been sent to minister. But the lady didn't say when it was sent nor when they will be processed.

When did you apply? Did you get a request for additional docs?

No, I only applied last year so I'm sure it will be a while before they even look for more documentation from me.

good idea startin this kinda thread i tink v shud hav for every year.

apply jun 08 as spouse of irish
in ireland since Sept 2000
never claim social
documents sent in oct 10 p21/p60
and then in apr 11 p21/p60 stamps pages by me no request from dept.
td ask ministr in may of this year he says under process will be expeditiously as possible blah blah.
td sent email again in aug to check up dept said position remains same.

i am from may 2008 , still waiting i will keep you inform , its seem to be alots of application from 2009 geting aproval ,so lets hopes tobe us soon

I applied in Jul 2008 and got acknowledgement in Aug 2008 and still waiting, my Ref#:68/56**/08. I know one of our relative who applied in Jun 2008 and got his approval today, about three weeks ago INIS told him on phone while he was inquiring about his application that in 2 months time they would contact him and they are waiting for his report. So lets see on Monday who is going to get next approval??????
