Dependent Surname query in ILR Application

Post by Cf_firefly » Sun Oct 23, 2011 3:20 pm

Hello All ,

My wife has surname as her maiden name in passport and in dependant visa.

An observation is added in Passport of my wife by Indian embassy that her Surname is changed to My surname after marriage and I also have our marriage certificate which mentions her surname change .

Now I am applying for ILR ( under pre NOV - JR ) for both myself and my wife . What should I fill in application in dependent section regarding my wife's Surname .

Could some one with similar experince or modeartors please guide me .

Thanks
Firefly

Hello,

I have a similar query regarding surname.

I am aware that there is no need to change the wife's surname in passport to apply for dependent visa, but is there a document by UKBA which states this specifically ??

Sorry for trouble.

Regards.
