In addition to start/end dates, designation, I also gave detailed responsibilities of the role. There was no mentioning of "this job requires knowledge of university degree holder" due to HR practices.

I work for Oracle Corporation, India - world's #2 largest software company. When they don't honor this experience, I really sense something fishy which goes beyond what is on paper.

Fingers crossed - will wait for the documents to reach to ascertain what the exact reason is.

I recommend that there is no need to send original they have copies of all the documents which you send with original application.

Just send review application form plus letter explaining reason why you think your case should be reviewed.

Just received the documents today and realized that my work experience wasn't considered at all. Work exp. letters sent in my initial application pack didn't have work description. But I sent additional documents in standard experience letter format, with full work description, that were receieved by HSMP team on 7th September. Decision was made on 17th September. I was also told, in e-mail confirmation, that these additional documents were attached to my case.

But when I received documents through AIRMAIL today, additional documents were missing from the pack. Home Office explanation also didn't mention about these additional document. So, I presume by the time the documents were received by HO, my case was already with caseworker.

I was told that review request form can be sent through e-mail or fax also.

APPROVED!!!!

Post by sammyw » Sun Sep 17, 2006 11:41 pm

Date sent: Aug 12
Date charged: Aug 19
Approval Received: Sept 14

Hi all, I just wanted to drop a quick note to this forum to say thank you for all of the information over the past few months. My case is a bit different from others that you may encounter because I have been working in the UK for two years under the working holiday scheme. I work in pharma sales and I sent in my application two days before my current visa was due to expire. I was supposed to remain in the country while a decision was made on my case but I needed to go home because there was a death in my family. When I came back into the UK I was detained because I did not have a visa in my temporary passport. At that time the airpport immigration interviewed me and contacted the Home Office who were told to begin processing my case immediately...three days later I received my approval. My lawyer said that this is the fastest decision that he has had--THANK GOD!!! Thanks again for all of your help!!!

Note: Royal Mail Airmail service to Mumbai is good ( it took 5 working days)

Raj

steve
I have a business visa interview lined up, so has been approved quickly.

Even in case of impending travel plans, you can request for Urg Treatment

You dont have anything to lose, by faxing an Urgent Treatment form (except the flight ticket money in worst case)

Note: I have send the Urgent Treatment form along with the application itself

Raj
