another 2009 applicant approved. hubbie applied on the basis of spouse of Irish citizen in Sept 2009 and was just approved. yawwwhhhh!!!!

congrats to other 2009 applicants, and good luck to those still waiting.

congratulations to you all
-got letter of intended granting of citizenship on friday.
time waiting 26 months
-submitted fees/gnib/photos
-got my LTR yesterday
time waiting 11 months
i wonder if somebody been in a similar experience. and what did you do regarding your LTR letter

why will you need your LTR then?
you became Irish and it is only 2 months and you will have your Irish passport.
if you are not going to travle within the next 3 months save your 500 euros and no need for LTR.

and how long after you made your payment and sending your gnib did you get the acknoledgement from INIS

I'll give you my time frame
got the approval on 18/06/2011 and booked for taking the oath then I took the oath on 13/07/2011
sent all the documents on 15/07/2011
got my CON on 22/08/2011
applied for Passport on 06/09/2011 received the passport on 22/09/2011

that means 3 months in total for your passport from time of approval.
now for me i sent the fees/gnib/photos.do i have to wait for the ceremony? or can i take the oath in court? and how do i go about them?
