Hello all,

can anyone suggest me a good solicitor who must have had a good experience with them. because, the one we hired( I am Legal services in Birmingham), that stupid guy straight away applied for court date rather than even thinking of sending our supporting docs to ECM for initial review.

Please help me asap.

Thnks in advance.

Hello guys

I have been following closely this topic and thought I drop a line.

I submitted my daughters paperwork for Settlement Visa on 03/10/11 and Visa got granted 20/10/11.

With the help of this board, I managed to gather most of the information needed for the VISA.

Am so happy, and to everyone else be patient and positive.

Hi Guys,

My fiancee had an Interview on 19/10/2011 and we did not get any immediate response. We have been asked to wait 7 to 10 working days. We have had to push our wedding date ahead. :(

I am just depressed with the way things have turned out :(

Hi All, hope you can give me some insight from your experiences,

My wife applied for her spouse visa in Mid September 2011 @ Mumbai South VFS, India.

Her status has not changed since day one (Your visa application has been forwarded to the British High Commission).

Background: she can’t travel to the UK until the 25th of this month when she turns 21.

My question, is this normal for the status not to change, if not what can I do to find out what’s going on?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

So u have until the 30th march untill they send u a hearing date? We didn't appeal straight to the uk we done it through the embassy to see if they would over turn there decision first but they didn't. So they sent the appeal to the UK in november and I received a letter yesterday with a hearing date off 30th January.

What was ur reason for refusal?? If u don't mind me asking...
