Travelling on Indian passport after Citizenship approval

Post by fulltootp » Thu Oct 27, 2011 1:09 pm

Having received my approval letter from Home Office, can I still travel on the Indian passport if I have not yet attended the Citizenship Ceremony? I have 90 days to attend the ceremony. Can I travel to India in the interim and then come back to schedule and attend the ceremony after which I can complete the formalities of getting the British passport?

Yes.

You are an Indian citizen until you take the oath / pledge and handed your (British) naturalisation certificate.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
