I don't understand in this 'day of age' how companies still pay in 'cash in hand'. The only reason I can think they do this is to hide their business cashflow.

You got to prove and show how you get paid and how much - don't take the risk with a letter detailing you get paid in 'cash in hand' as that could raise suspicion.

You will have to ask your employer to send you a cheque, or even do a 'standing order' from his/her company account. As I am sure he or she will have an account as part of the business. To go with it, a summary of your wage, number of hours and the amount of TAX and N.I deducted.

With this, your bank statments will evident that you get paid by your company on a regular basis. And, you got a payslip to summarise each months wage, tax deduction and N.I. contribution.

As I say before, don't feel dishearten with my feedback or think I'm being a 'scaremonger' - I rather you get your case prepared correctly the first time around.

@exquisit- i really hope so too but im not getting my hopes up

@aakamir- wow, that was pretty quick, i thort they usually wait until the deadline has elapsed before they give u a hearing date. Does this mean they have prepapred their bundle already?

@naila- if u lodge ur appeal within the UK then a copy of the pending appeal is sent back to islamabad so that they have an opportunity to review their original decision. The appeal process takes an additional 3 weeks if lodged in the UK as u need to allow time for the documents to be served to the relevant parties. However u also have the opportunity to lodge ur appeal directly to the ECO in islamabad. This will speed the process up by approx 3 weeks as they have the opportunity to start working on ur case straight away rather than waiting for the tribunal to contact them
