Lets hope we will not be pushed for sending not required docs.
Let us hope so, I woke up feeling optimistic this morning.

It will be a fantastic week if everyone who applied in August and before, get their passports back this week :)

Congrats to all who got the passports. I am waiting patiently with fingers crossed. I suppose there will less cases processed as we get close to XMAS times as people go on holidays etc. Looking at previous history, if it takes 10 weeks to process application then I fall right in the middle on XMAS holidays. Hopefully I will get the passport back this year :)

Why after 3 months? I can't remember anything mentioned about waiting 3 months before contacting HO on acknowledgement letter.

Hi qaziji,

Did your lawyer specifically say that he can contact them after three months? I tried ringing this morning and there was no way of even speaking to anybody. There was an audio message that simply stated that no progress updates are available to any application that has been pending for under six months, and then the call is automatically ended. So even if ones application has been pending for more than six months, there was still no way of speaking to anyone. Unless there is a seperate phone number to use? :?

I think the 3 months refers to the 14 weeks waiting before contacting them. However, this is usless now as the message on the UKBA phone does not allow you to speak to anyone.

Guys we have to sit tight I guess. it is only the start of the week and by looking at the past 2 months no one recieved his passport on a monday. So let us wait and see. the past 2 weeks were realy good as in each one of them 6 passports where returned with ILR

Good luck

Congrats to everyone for receiving their passports back! The average processing times from posting to receiving back appears to be about 70/71 days. The fastest processing time since May was 57 days (altfhn) and the slowest was 100 days (adamboston). Hope this info helps!

Hi Kassem

Can you be able to provide me the approx waiting time for ILR processing please. I applied on 28th September, 2 days after I got my payment acknowledgement and since then no news.

I sent my flight booking( booked well before applying) along with application. does it make any impact on the processing.

Please try to share your experience.

Many thanks
Maruti

Hi Mako,

Thanks for the information and good to see you are still viewing the forum.

Could you please let us know if you sent any additional documents with your application? or did you just send the minimum required documents i.e. Passport/s, Life in the UK Test and Photos?

Thanks
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it...

Hi BigSam
I sent my passports, LIUK test, photos and 4 months salary slips. Everything was returned to me except for the photos (and the application form of course). I also enclosed a Special Delivery envelope which was used to return my documents. I had checked at about 4.30pm and my Special Delivery tracking number was not recognised, but when my wife checked again at about 9pm it was recognised...meaning they don't despatch passports until sometime after 4.30pm. So anyone who's tracking their return Special Delivery number should check sometime at night.

Hi Mako,

Thank you very much for the swift response and the valuable information, I check the reference number of my prepaid envelop every day, I will ensure I always check after 7pm from now on then.

One more question please, did you send photocopies of your passports as well? it appears that some people are getting the photocopies back, and others not sent copies with their applications in the first place?

Thanks again for sharing your experience; I trust you know what it feels like. You have been there and done that init

They said that they will write a letter to them. As i think calling is not a good option, a written request matters for them.

Thanks qaziji, that is what I thought as well.

I hope that your application will be processed successfully and returned well before that day and that there will be no need to write a letter.

Good luck to everyone, it appeats that the majority of passports are being returned on Wednesday to Friday, so hopefully we will see a lot of people having their documents back from tomorrow!

Guys, I thought to post my good news now so that tomorrow morning first thing you will find something possitive.

Well, coming back home after work I found a post slip to collect from post office and I didn't waste time and found my ILR... Alhamdulillah

Right, here are some details:

Posted: 15th Aug
Received at HO: 16th Aug
Acknowledgement letter: forgot the date.
ILR issue date: 19th Oct
Post received: 1st Nov

Though I haven't met any of you in real life, really enjoyed being with you. and wish you all the best for future.

Congratulations fajr, this is fantastic news :D

Could you please advise if your documents were returned using your prepaid envelop? or did you not post one? also, what supporting documents did you include with your application?

Congratulations again, hope this is the start to a good week!!
