Can i chase the home office for an update on the spouse visa

Post by littlebush » Tue Nov 01, 2011 7:55 pm

hi,
my newly wed wife applied for her spouse visa 4 weeks ago.
we do not have an online tracker number of anything to track the application but would like to know how far along the process it is as we are due on holiday in 2 weeks and need our passports (although we have the option to cancel as we knew it'd be tight).
is there a way of chasing the home office to find out how its coming along?
thanks

Do you mean you've applied for FLR(M) from within the UK? If so, you won't be able to request an update until 14 weeks have passed since the application was submitted.
