Tier 1 - Extension

Post by frrana » Tue Nov 01, 2011 11:53 am

Dear All

I am up for Tier 1 extension application before 12 May, 2011. I am self employed and receive direct payments into my personal bank account as well as cheques from clients.

What documents I need to confirm that my earnings are genuine.

I think these are the documents would you all agree...

1. NIC Class 2 -

2. Letter from accountant confirming my gross & net salary for the period.

3. A letter from HMRC to show I am self employed.

4. Invoice summaries from a registered accountant to show the earning made and which correlate into my bank account.

5. The invoices made my me and signed by liens for the payments made.

Is this enough? Please Reply I am getting anxious about this self employed stuff since my initial Tier 1 was soley on full time Job.

Thanks

Fasial

First of all may 2011 is past.
Ok it's all better to have a statement of business account from your statement and profit and loss statement as well.
More you can do is invoice explanation from your accountant .
Further you can get a letter from
HMRC stating your UTR number.
All the best

First of all. Thankyou very much.

could you please elaborate this sentence further ?

"Ok it's all better to have a statement of business account from your statement and profit and loss statement as well."

I understood the remaining two points. Thanks

Faisal

If you go to your accountant and tell him that you need those he will be able to make that for you as he is the person who will give these documents to you .
