You need minimum of one year continous work experience in the occupations O-A-B for filing your application for p.r at buffalo visa post.

Rogerroger:

I am afraid you will not qualify if you do not meet the requirment for work experience. Sorry mate! Find a job and work for a year and you will qualify i.e. if you meet the other selection factors.

Don't you have any work experience at all from India? What about part-time experience during your schooling days?
visit www.cic.gc.ca and start your research there.
Bye.

Will You Qualify as a Skilled Worker?

To be accepted as a skilled worker, applicants must:

1. meet the minimum work experience requirements;
2. prove that they have the funds required for settlement; and
3. earn enough points in the six selection factors to meet the pass mark.

You must meet the following minimum work experience requirements to be eligible to apply as a skilled worker:

You must have at least one continuous year of full-time paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment.

Your work experience must be in the category of Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B on the Canadian National Occupational Classification. (See below for instructions.)

You must have had this experience within the last 10 years.
Praise The Lord!!!!

thanks for the reply

if the person engages in research assitantships in the US during the course, wll that count as part time work?

if the same person does his second masters from canada, does that change things, can he then apply without work experience?
