Spouse visa - Pakistan

Post by Rucy786 » Thu Nov 03, 2011 3:36 am

Sallam people

My wife is in pakistan and she has submitted her papers,
when i logged in to check the tracking it said the application is ready for collection.

When my wife went to collect, she got a visa reject.

My wife has faxed the letters about why the visa went rejected and

she took a EMD Test but they said it is not on the approved UKBA LIST.

Everything else is right excpect this.

I need some help now, do i or my wife need to APPEAL?
Because the way im thinking is she will do a test again and that will take a couple of months then when she gets the pass certifacte she will put that in the same visa documents and then send it off?

It says 28 days for the appeal?

Can anyone please help me and tell me what to do next

If the test provider was not on the list of approved test providers on the date of the application then your wife will need to make a new application with a pass certificate of an approved test provider.

What "old papers" are you referring to?

Post decision evidence cannot be accepted, looking towards a fresh application.

you can try an appeal but as stated by other members there is no gaurantee of success with an appeal as the papers where incorrect at the time of submitance, therefore if they overturn the decision it will be on thier goodwill
