Switching from Tier-1 (PSW) to Tier-1 General Dependant

Post by redbull110 » Thu Nov 03, 2011 7:49 am

Dear Moderators & Senior Members,

I married earlier this year back home and my wife had PSW visa at the time of marriage.

My status in this country is Tier-1 General.

She travelled with myself to UK and is currently on her PSW visa. Her visa is due to expire in April next year.

Question is can she apply as my dependant from inside UK and get her current PSW visa converted to the dependant visa for Tier-1 General? Also our baby is due in Feb next year, so will the same apply to the newborn as well?

Please let me know.

Thanks.

Redbull110.

She can't switch inside the UK. The baby can apply as your dependant from inside the UK

Thanks Lucapooka. Really appreciate your reply.

Do I need to go through the same Biometric enrollment procedure for the new born baby as I did for myself?

OR

What happens when I will send the application of the new born for the dependent visa?

Regards,
