Is degree certificate enough? (educational background)

Post by vbellino » Wed Sep 20, 2006 10:13 pm

Hello All,

For educational backgroung I'll send the certified English translation of my degree certificate with the original as well. I also have the academic transcript, but according to the guidance, only the original certificate will suffice. However, I've seen many people here sending both. I'd rather avoid sending the transcript as it is less one document to certified translate, which is quite an expensive service.

I think caseworkers take your certificate, go to NARIK and check whether that is equivalent to UK degree, they don't use transcript for anything once the certificate is original. Can anybody advise here?

Thanks,

Vinicius
