BANKRUPTCY HELP!! Expert Advice Needed

Im wanting to bring my vietnamese fiance here on a marriage visa after we marry in april. The big problem is I am an undischarged bankrupt and wont be discharged untill next september. I did a search on this site about bankruptcy and found a post that stated the UKBA check if you are bankrupt and your application is unlikely to be accepted if you are undischarged. Can anyone confirm if this is true?
