PSW to Tier-2 (salary)

Post by rka9b » Wed Nov 09, 2011 5:59 pm

Hi,

I am currently on TIER1 PSW visa. My PSW will be eneded on JAN 2012. I am currently working as an Design Engineer in a manufacturing company. I want to switch it into Tier2 General. I started my job in Jan, 2011
According to SOC code my salary requirement is 27k, but my salary is only 20k. My employer wrote letter saying after completion of my training, he will pay inline with salary requirements of TIER-2. Does this works?

I will be waiting for ur prompt response.

Thank you

Cheers

Stating that in a letter is neither enough nor relevant. He must provide the salary information when applying for CoS and the stated salary must be in line with the COP guidance relevant for your job.
