My wife is applying for ilr as her visa runs out on the 23rd december. I am a British citizen from birth and we have a baby boy born in the uk last year. Does he have to be included on wifes application?

Like you, your child is also a British citizen by birth.

Have you ever made an immigration application (or have been included in one) to UKBA to enter / remain in the UK?
The same applies to your child (like you, the child is also a British citizen by birth).
