Hello All,
I have been a silent follower of this thread. I am extremely happy to inform you that I received my passports today. A massive thank goes to ah_kassem for his great effort for keeping this thread alive and I wish all the best for everyone on the waiting list, especially vien1206 and raja 1976.

My time line
Passports sent 07/09/11
Received by HO 08/0911
Payments 09/09/11
Acknowledgment letter received 13/09/11
ILR stamped on 02/11/11
Passport received 11/11/11 (today)

The document posted
- Application forms
- Covering letter
- Current and old passports
- Photographs
- life in the UK test certificates
- Template for absence indicating page numbers of the passports

The documents were delivered by Royal mail on 2nd class (recorded delivery).

Jatim I send in same day as urs and received on 10/11/11 and I haven't send ant pre paid envelop

Ive got to say this forum has given me hope, all of you here are God-sent comforters. Ive been a silent member of this group and I also applied for ILR 10yr residency, recently at work ive been having a terrible time and because I was on tier 2 I couldnt really say much but kept soldiering on... so I sent my application 25/08/11 using a lawyer under being a student and Tier 2 got a reply letter saying its being passed to a case worker 31/08/11 then got a call today from my lawyer saying it has arrived 14/11/11 but was stamped 27/10/11....So all in all about 11.5weeks... (student and Tier2)

Keep strong and have faith...and I wish everyone the best.. God bless you all

I GOT MY ILR. MY Solicitor called me and told that it arrived this morning
According to solicitor

Applied: 25th July 2011
Acknowledgement: 15th Aug 2011 (Received after 20 days due to Riots and Solicitors payed by cheque)
ILR Stamp Date: 7th Nov 2011
Received Passport on: 15th November

Documents i sent

- Photographs
- life in the UK test certificates
- All my educational documents so far (Its not required actually that delayed my Visa)

I had Student visa expiring december 2012

Hi everyone, Im a new memeber here, would like to post my application status as well

Application sent-25/08/11
file opened- 30./08/11
Payment taken- 05/09/11(check)
Acc recieved- 05/09/11(dated 01/19/11)
still waiting and it has been 12 weeks

I applied through lawyer, my lawyer called HM twice or three times to ask about my status, the last time he called was on Monday, and HO said my case is not yet closed, no result yet. He also said it has been been 14 weeks, so I should be make any travel plan. My lawyer told me that there are three offices that are processing 10 yrs, Crydon, Liverpool and Sheffield, and my case is with Liverpool office.

I heard that most people receive their PR back within 10 weeks, I hope mine can be back asap, as I need to make an urgent travel.

this week seems very slow.. not many passport returned back. 3 more days to go to end this week ... still hope.

Hey all I have been a silent member of this thread and just got my passport back last week with an ILR stamp on it.

Time line:
Applied 04.09.11
Ack letter 09.09.11
Passport Rec'd 11.11.11

Total time 9 weeks
6 years on student and 4 years on WP. Student visa application rejected once in 2005 reason incomplete application (no enrolment form)

Docs sent:
old + new passport
LITUK test cert
cover letter
3 x payslips
1 x P60

The stamp on the passpot says leave granted on the 04.11.11 but did not get to me until 7 days later??

Hi all,

I received my passport with ILR endorsement today and am sharing this good news with you all. As some of you might know that my passport was mishandled by the UKBA and was sent to someone's address. I had to ask for an intervention of my local MP, which helped in getting a prioritised processing for myself (10 year long stay), my wife (10 year long stay) and son (SET-F). My wife and son already received theirs and I finally got mine. Here is my timeline:

Application sent: 3 Oct 2011
Application received by UKBA: 4 Oct 2011
Money taken from my debit card: 7 Oct 2011
Mishandling of the package notified by its recepient: 17 Oct
Acknowledgement Letter received: 29 Oct (note that it was only issued once they got my package back from the other receipient)
ILR stamp date on my passport: 11 Nov 2011
Passport received: 17 Nov 2011

I had submitted only the essential documents: completed SET-O form, LIUK test certificate, my old passport and new passport.

This forum has been a great help to me. I would like to thank you the forum members for their help in the time of need.

Hi Guys

Just to let you all know, I have received my passport back this morning with ILR.

I applied on the 15/09/2011 and received it back this morning so 9 weeks exactly.
The date on the visa is 8/11/11 from liverpool. I sent quite a few documents with my application - 6 months payslips, 2 yrs P60, 6 Months bank statmeent, Tennancy agreement, lituk, photographs.
I forgot to include the photocopies and did not send any prepaid envelope

Thanks everyone for your continuous support. and I hope the rest of you who are still waiting get their passports soon

Docs sent: 2 passports, LIUT, payslips, statements etc. I did not send photocopies. I do not think they required all the extra docs but then again why risk

6yrs student, Iyr SEGS, 3yrs Tier 1

Applied 20 days before 10yrs reached and pretty straightforward case, no gaps in visa or stay.
