Approval under Zambrano ruling

Hi,

I have applied for stamp 4 under Zambrano ruling on 2nd Aug 2011. It reached the DOJ on 3rd Aug 2011. After that till now I hadn't received any acknowledgement or decision. Even I had sent a letter to DOJ through a Immigration Solicitor on 18th Oct 2011. There is no reply yet.Can anyone suggest me the status of any decision regarding ZAMBRANO.
Has anyone gone to court after refused by the DOJ for stamp 4 under Zambrano ruling? I need advise from senior/experienced members

I am afraid you will have to be patient. many other people on this forum have complained about the long delays from the DOJ.
If anything it will get worse because they will have less resources next year.

If you are in a hurry you could always ring them up but I would not advise it.

We are still waiting six months later although we do receive acknowledgement letters.

Has anybody here received approval? Especially without having to go to court?
