There was a gentle man called EHAQUE. He applied in July-2011 and he got it in 87 days .. i thought that i might fit the same .. looks like he is an exception and so i am not of the same Genre.

shall post the same when i hear anything from the department.

thanks

Yeah mine was processed very promptly. I know three of my colleagues all of whom applied in June 2011 for LTR (a month before me) but they still haven't received their letters. 2 of the guys haven't even received any acknowledgement as of now :( In my case I received the acknowledgement within the first week.

Maybe if one has resided in 3-4 addresses they might take more time to do some checks ? I am not sure whether garda check is needed for LTR ?

i was expecting it around the 90 day mark .. but as ehaque mentioned his is an exception .. hopefully one day i would get the same .. eager and anxious!

thanks

INIS website now does not contain any processing time pages. Its now very difficult to get some clue what they are processing?
Its been 5 months now since i applied for LTR and apart from acknowledgement letter did not hear anything from them as of yet.

LTR waiting time

Post by hohbfa » Tue Nov 22, 2011 3:52 pm

I have applied LTR on 23rd June 2011,
received the acknowledgement on 20th July.
Received a letter asking to send my Current contract & letter from employment on 15th Nov.
Send both required letter on 17th Nov.

The question is now How long would it take to get the approval???

in their ack did they indicate the date of processing ? or its just that they have ack. your application and would process the same in a chronological order ?

In fact i never understood what chronological order they process .. nothing seems to tie on the date on which the application submitted :-)

thanks

Any New LTR approvals of late ?

Also, any ideas as to when the "Immigration, Residence and Protection Bill 2010" bill would be passed ?

I guess this would allow all the dependents to work .. any ideas on this ?

thanks
