Hi,
I am little bit confused by the Bachelor degree related requirement for ILR from Tier 1 (General) and so need help. The requirement is mentioned in Section 9 B3 for SET(O) form
"You can only claim points for a Bachelor’s degree level qualification if you have previously been granted leave to enter or remain as a Tier 1 (General) migrant under the rules in place before 31 March 2009 or after 5 April 2010; or as a Highly Skilled Migrant, Writer, Composer or Artist or a self employed lawyer."
I got HSMP on 31 march 2008 and moved to Tier 1 (General) on 29 sep 2009. As can be seen my HSMP date is outside the range but T1G date in within the range.
The information on guide notes say
----------
* An applicant will be awarded no points for a Bachelor’s degree if:
(a) his last grant of entry clearance was as a Tier 1 (General) Migrant under the rules in place
between 31 March 2009 and 5 April 2010, or
----------
Since my LAST GRANT OF ENTRY is T1G, does that mean that I will not be able to get points for Bachelor degree for Settlement? Will really appreciate if someone can confirm the same.
