Applying for childs first passport after MN1 registration

Hello All,

Just wanted to ask some advice as I can not find clear enough information about what is needed to process my childs first passport after MN1 registration.

My son was born through surrogacy in India in July, we then applied for MN1 registration to get his citizenship which was approved this week. However, I am confused about which documents to present when applying for his passport. His registration certificate is in the post and we know we need to send this but do I need to provide any proof of the surrogate mother? Signatures? her passport?

Any help would be greatly received.

you dont need anything from the surrogate mother. you only need his registration certificate and his birthcertificate to apply for his passport. NOTHING ELSE!!!
