Just to clarify:

The only document supplied by the sponsor that needs to be certified is the copy of the sponsor's passport.

The sponsor declaration does not need to be certified or attested. The sponsor declaration should contain the sponsor's details and state that the sponsor will be responsible for the applicant's maintenance and accomodation etc. It is also worth mentioning this in the covering letter from the sponsor.

If parents are providing accomodation they should write a letter stating so and this does not need to be certified or attested.

A housing inspection report from the local authority or an estate agent is required to prove the accomodation will not become over crowded unless the property will be occupied solely by the applicant and their sponsor (i.e. husband and wife).

For a spouse visa application the sponsor undertaking form does not need to be included. It is for dependent visa applications.

Lastly, for anyone who has got married recently or is planning to do so please do not rely only on calling cards for evidence of communication. Use one of the recent cheap virtual mobile networks that offer similar rates to calling card companies with the added bonus of printable call histories to provide good evidence of contact. Preferably with other types of contact as well although this is not always possible as in my wife's case the postal service is unreliable and access to a reasonable speed internet connection very limited.

Calling cards have been accepted in the past and some may have been accepted very recently (but I suspect these applicants will have also provided other solid proof of communication as well e.g emails or internet chat histories etc. if not they were very lucky) and as someone has mentioned a page or two back if you have decent proof of communication including calling cards is potentially providing a reason for refusal.

It's common sense. All a calling card proves is someone, somewhere has spent x amount on a calling card. All that the access number on an itemised bill proves is that the calling card has been used. It does not, on balance, prove that a sponsor has spoken with their spouse on a specific number at a specific time unlike proper itemised billing. Unless someone can actually get itemised billing from a calling card company of course.

All in my humble opinion. Hope this helps.

My wife did a 'ielts' exam in Islamabad. It took 13 days to receive.

For more information: http://www.britishcouncil.org/pakistan-exams-ielts.htm

Note, the minimum pass rate for IELTS is 4.0, which is B1.

I provided 3 months and I did a brief cover sheet stating my salary pay and regular outgoings. But if you got a healthy bank status i.e. salary or savings then 3 months should be fine.

Note, do not provide any fraudlent information by stating exaggerated salary and savings - checks will be made if things don't add up.

I sent pictures that I printed off, will that be a problem?

They were pictures of my wedding and included pictures before wedding and after wedding
