I just did not come to think of it uptill now. I know its going to end up getting rejected. Oh well were just going to have to wait and see.

The originals I have at home, but I have all the photos on a CD and thought it would be easier to print some of them off as my family took them digitally and not got them printed

Do the wedding pics have to be original?
It's best if wedding photographs are printed on high quality photo paper, so best to get them processed at a shop. Altered images are not seen as appropriate as anything can be done in photoshop etc. Best to ensure that you don't give them any excuse to reject or raise any issues regarding the authenticity of the pictures. It is true in Pakistan professional images are photo-shopped as background is changed etc, like sis Naila pointed out.

Good Luck Munda

As long as you have printed them on reasonable quality paper this will not be a problem. If you have printed them from cd onto decent photo paper there is no way they can be rejected for not being originals. As long as Photoshop or similar software has not been used to alter them in anyway.

With photographs its best to send originals , to be honest you have to send original of almost everything LOL.

I got a hard copy of all my wedding pics so send out the originals will not be an issue. Yeah its best to send ones where the background does not look fake.

The pictures I sent were just printed but were not photoshoped and have the original backrounds on them.

Hi guys I know this is not the thread but can someone direct me to the thread where I can find out what i need to do for the ILR application following a spouse visa.

Further assistance in filling the form in particular the part where it asks about child benefit and child tax credits which i am in receipt of.

I have tried searching these issues but can't get a uniform answer

thank you :)

My wife got the ready for collection text today. Everyone please make dua that the visa is granted insha'Allah. I was expecting it to take longer as the case is not straightforward so we are worried but excited as well which is only natural I guess. I will inform you all tomorrow.

I'm also waiting for my appeal since sept I've heard nothing since acknowledgement letter just had a reply to a email I sent them on Wednesday saying

Thank you for your email. Your wife’s appeal is currently under process and will be reviewed in due course by an Entry Clearance Manager. Once the review has been completed, we will contact your wife regarding the outcome of the case.

Does this mean that my wife will get visa in review...?

I think it looks like a standard reply. They have given a deadline therefore until the deadline passes they probably just send a standard response rather than going into detail about the process of an appeal.

No, Naila Im not in control of the spreadsheet. I was just hoping to hear good news from other people. We sent off our appeal on the 1st September, I emailed the Home Office about the status of the appeal and was told that it takes approx 3 months for them to review the appeal so I have to wait until January!

"We can confirm that we have received your appeal statement on 07/10/11 which is awaiting a review from the manager. Please note the standard processing time for an appeal statement to be reviewed is approximately 3 months. You can check status of your appeal after 07/01/12" - This is the response I got via email so yeh ur right, itz a standard response!
