Schengen Visa- Switzerland proof of accomodation

Hi,
I am applying for schengen visa to swiss and from the website they are not accepting internet bookings for hotel. I have booked in 5 different hotels for my trip from www.booking.com. Has any one applied for schengen visa with internet hotel bookings.

Swiss have funny rules re EEA, so best to get a proper booking.

I checked with french embassy they are ok with hotel booking but they are not accpting marriage certificate from india and these swiss guys not giving any reply regarding hotel booking. To get a direct confirmation from all these hotels will be a nightmare. Hope someone replies with good answer.

What does it matter what the French say? If the Swiss won't accept internet bookings you will have to deal with it.

I got schengen visa for me & my wife on 4th May from french embassy and i DID supply our Indian marriage certificate along with my application

Did you supply indian marriage certificate without getting it attested??
And is your wife on a dependent visa and not working?
And what did you do with the hotel booking? did you get any confirmation from the hotel as in my case I have done booking from booking.com.

Why don't you simply call hotel and ask them to send you an e-mail or even fax ??

And what did you do with the hotel booking?

I did booking from venere.com and just presented confirmation email printout.

(and one of my friend & his wife got 1 yr schengen visa on last friday by supplying same documents as ours)

I am in the same situation, my wife is dependent but not working currently, and the indian embassy is not attesting the marriage certificate we have,

did u use the original marriage certificate for french visa or what ?
Please help
