Spouse Settlement Visa

Post by tafee1981 » Fri Dec 09, 2011 9:35 am

@Nazema

Yes Nazema I have submitted the covering letter from my spouse expalining her circumstances. My wife has prepared the whole case by hiring the solicitor in London. Her GP letters which includes a recommendation letter stating her circumstances and need of sum1 who can look after (Me in this case) and Scan from the hospital in London confirming the due date of the baby as well.

hopefully they will have some sort of clemency and will issue the visa as I am too worried about her condition.

Thanks and Regards,

Tafee

I was just wondering whether the ecm will write to me as well as i have read in some posts by members that they have received a letter from ecm that he has reviewed the appeal and is maintaining the refusal and forwarding it to tribunal

Hi I noticed you was in a similar dilemma, My wife passed the Listening aspect of A1 and failed the speaking.

Was you able to confirm if partial retake was ok with ukba? Hope you can help!
Not sure yet, haven't submitted application.

Asked Gerrys and they said it should be fine. The TOEIC test we did comes on 2 seperate certificates anyway.

Maybe this is a good thing, it will probably be quicker becuase they wont send it oversees, this takes soooo much time.......so good news in my opinion...

as for fees ....i dont think it would be much

@Faysal
It cud b a good or bad thing depending on fees aswell as the time wait. About 15-20 years back it was the tories as government. Ppl used to appeal in england then aswell n they used give u a time wait for a year or more we are lucky now it 6 months but at this rate it will go back up to 1+ year.

Salam all,

As you are aware that my hubby's visa was refused back in Sep 2011. We appealed in the UK (appeal lodged in October first week).

Our representative told us that he has received an email, the email stated that our rep will be notified with a decision if they have given visa or not in 2 weeks..

And then they emailed again saying we will let you know outcome in 1 week.. and now they emailed saying my hubby should be receiving a letter soon to submit his passport.. :? :?

Should I accept this as decision over-turned?

@ General30, Alhumdhulila, thank you, Inshallah I hope we get letter swiftly. Ofcourse I am always making dua for you all. Inshallah I hope you hear something very soon too, we appealed in October as well. Can I ask? when the person you know was requested to submit passport after submission, how long did it take to get passport stamped, i.e. ready for pick up? By the way, my hubby was refused visa on 3 reasons...1) My signatures Nikkah Nama did not match those on my passport, so they didn't believe I was married or it was me. 2) Calling cards, they did not accept these as sufficient proof of contact. 3) They didn't believe I was working, I sent proof but they totally overlooked wage slips etc.

@ Diehard, thank you! It has been a long journey for me, being newly married and having to be separated from my hubby has been really difficult. But I kept my faith in Allah swt, I knew he would never turn us away, he is indeed the most merciful. Not only my husband was refused visa but I also lost my job (company closed down) just after refusal but Alhumdhulila I was fortunate enough and thanks to the almighty to get a new job. So please don’t lose hope and keep faith, Allah swt will definitely answer your prayers. Your patience will be rewarded Inshallah!!!!

I am now just waiting for a written confirmation for husband to submit his passport. It’s not sinking in. I do hope that it is good news!!!!

MAY I PLEASE STRESS, PLEASE DO NOT USE CALLING CARDS SOLELY TO SHOW COMMUNICATION! I regret doing this. So always make sure you send Itemised call records and other records i.e. greeting cards etc! If your not sure, please ask before you submit application!

Thanks :D
