ILR GRANTED

Post by imageo25 » Fri Dec 02, 2011 10:13 pm

DEAR ALL,

TO GOD BE THE GLORY! I have received my passports + ILR stamp today and I thought I'd my story with you all. I have been a silent follower of this fantastic forum for about 5 months now. My timeline is as follows:

APPLICATION SENT: 21 SEP. 2011
APPLICATION DELIVERED: 22 SEPT. 2011
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT RECEIVED (dated - 23 SEP. 2011): 27 SEP 2011
PAYMENT TAKEN: 28 SEP 2011 (Bank Draft (confirmed by the bank))
ILR STAMP DATE: 22 NOV. 2011
PASSPORT RECEIVED: 02 DEC. 2011

My case was pretty much straightforward with no gaps - 10years student. However, I had some missing stamps in my passport which got me bit worried, but that was not an issue after all.

A big thank you to all the wonderful and lovely people of this forum, particularly all the moderators, al_kassem and vien1206. A special thank you to adamboston, who never got tired of answering my endless questions - God Richly Bless You.

Best wishes to all the folks waiting for their passports - I believe its on the way to your door - take heart - trust me its' worth the wait.

Sagor,

Thanks!

I think we applied around the same time according to your timeline. If that is the case, then I am sure your passport is on its way!

Best Wishes

Congrats PC_G! I think you are the first member to report receiving ILR back this week. Can you tell your stats/case and whether you sent a pre paid envelope? I hope more will receive their passports back today or tomorrow too (especially vien and others who are topping the pending list)

Hi all,

I would like to share my timeline. It took exactly three months to receive my ILR.

Application sent 12/09/2011
Acknowledgment letter received: 19/09/2011
ILR stamped: 02/12/2011
ILR received: 12/12/2011

It took 13 weeks and my application was straightforward (with no gaps). So I have no idea why it took longer than average. Good luck for the people still waiting.

Regards

Ilr was granted on the 5th of December. 6yrs student 1yr SEGS and 3yrs tier 2. I had one gap of 15days and I did not send a cover letter to explain. I guess I have been very lucky. Goodluck to you all!

contact details for HO

Post by Cad1 » Wed Dec 14, 2011 10:40 pm

Does any one has the contact details for home office enquires, any up dates would be greatly appreciated.
It's my 11th week and I have some real urgency for which I'm even looking for options to withdraw my application.

Hi

Sorry to hear that you need the docs urgently. the contact number is 08706067766 , in the list of menu you have the option to withdrew the application, because I come across the situation of nearly withdrew my application the call centre staff said for medical grounds the wait time collecting back the documents if 11days.

I waited until my application is dealt and advise you to be patient unless emergency so that you can have job done from Liverpool case group.

Good luck

HELLO everyone!!!!
I am ever SO happy to announce that today, just before 1pm, my work mate brought over my very own prepaid special delivery envelope containing my passport, and the most precious ILR stamp innit@!!@

I know you don't know me and I don't know you, but really, we are all together in this. I cannot explain enough what it means to me. I arrived in this counrty as a 19 yr old Israeli girl, just happy to get to live in London, knew nothing about immigration or visas or blah blah. And I created A Life here. I lived here my entire 20s. an English language course. a First degree (Law), a Masters degree (European Studies), a PSW permit..... and on and on.

And TODAY, I finally received my *hard, earned, ILR*!

My stats:

posted: 7.12.2011
ack letter dated: 11.12.2011
ILR stamped date: 8.12.2011 in Liverpool
passport received: 15.12.2011

combination of visitor + student visa + PSW +student visa

I love everyone tonight - I AM JUST SO HAPPY! Thanks so much to this lovely forum. I hope everyone will receive their passport and ILR asap!!!! You will all still be in my thoughts long time!!!!

with love,
Liat xxxx
