Settlement visa application process

I submitted my wifes Settlement visa application in Jalandhar, iNDIA on 9th November, i was wondering if she gets granted or refused the visa will we only know the outcome when we pick up the passport from VFS or will we be notified of the outcome prior to collecting the passport, via e-mail or sms update?

Whoever has had a visa granted, how were you informed of their decision?

Yes mate , you only know the outcome when you pick up the passport from VFS , there is no other way at all to know the decision before you open the package yourself with your own lucky hands

Hi Amrit , first things your husband will have a phone call from the embassy for the verification , after a while you they will call you to come to collect your passport and other documents , and then you will get the decision thier

I dont think you get a verification call if you submitted it in india, i think its different processes in every country
