Tier 1 Initial application Refusal

Post by yinkus001 » Tue Dec 06, 2011 8:01 pm

A bit of background

1. Came into the country as a student 2004 with spouse
2. Had my first child 2004 July ( she is now 7)
3. Completed first masters (an American University awarded) through a College in Edingburgh 2006
4. Declined Fresh Talent 2006 because American Degree was not recognised
5. Completed another Masters from Wolverhampton 2009
6. Had second baby 2009
7. Got PSW 2009 approval for Dec 2009 - Dec 22 2011
8. Applied for Tier 1 General 4 April 2011
9. Did Biometric 16 June 2011
10. Got refusal today on the grounds that my Wolverhamption MSc Degree Certificate (same degree i used in getting PSW approval) and my overseas earnings could not be verified.
11. No option to appeal as I still have a current leave to remain.

House, what are my options, what do i do. I currently work as a Business Analyst for a FTSE 100 company.

Hello just read the decision Homeoffice gave you regarding your Tier 1 General.
I will advice you look for a very good Immigration lawyer to help you file Pre Action Protocol Letter if you are 100% sure your certificate is geinue and you can prove your foreign earings back home can be verified.

My self and three dependants has applied since February 22nd 2011 and we paid for Premium Service and no decision. They always tell me my application has been passed for further enquiries.I have written them thrice and no decision till now.

Am 100% sure you can fight yours based on using lawyer to fight for Pre Action Protocol.

May Allah see us through.Ameen

You'd need to get a pretty good lawyer to deal with this. It's strange that they couldn't verify even your UK qualification.

I wonder if anyone else has been through this before. Any further ideas from anyone? Moderators maybe; your advise?

I'd advise that you contact your local MP to write the HO on your behalf. Trust me, it will speed things up.
