This is an area for the discussion of matters related to issues about moving from one country to another. Examples could be about money transfer, moving and packing, validity of driving licence, etc..

It is not a general non-immigration, free-for-all area.

Help re travel insurace for non-uk resident visitors

Post by pied_piper » Wed Dec 14, 2011 8:14 pm

My relatives are coming to UK to see me and I want to make sure that they have got full medical and travel insurance while they visit UK. Due to lax regulations regarding insurance industry back home, I would prefer to buy such an insurance from the UK.

I am sure somebody would be able to point out in the right direction on this apparently very common scenario. I will highly appreciate any help at all.

Many thanks,
PP

You can also call Bupa helpline. That’s what I used for my parents in law last summer.
