new born visa - work permit dependent (non point based)

Post by sapphire73 » Sun Dec 18, 2011 2:05 am

Hello everyone,

I am on work permit (non point based) issued in July'2008. Last month we have been blessed with a baby boy. I have already got his indian passport now have to apply for dependent visa.
My first question is:
Please guide me which form should I use for my son's dependant visa application. My son will be solo applicant.

My second question is:
How much is the fee? Can I apply by post ?

Last Question:
What documents are require to be submitted along with application. If applying by post do I need to submit my passport in original.

Thanks guys in advance and will really appreciate...

Thanks for the info.
This form FLR(O) can only be used If I am also applying (main application) along with dependant. My current visa is still vaild until 2013. I am looking for application form only for dependant. Please advice.

What makes you think that?

Because there is fee defined for Dependant "ONLY". See page 4 Section 5 Payment Details and on Page 2 also no guidance for individual application as Dependant. Please correct me If I am wrong. Please also advice what shall be the fee in my case.

Since the dependant (child) is applying for leave on his own, the child is the "applicant" in this case. Therefore fees of 550 (postal) or 850 (in-person) apply.
