Can anyone tell me the telephone number where i can get the status on my naturalization application?

You just need to be persistent - it takes quite some time.

You need to constantly redial until you get an answer - this takes about 25mins - redialing every 3 seconds.

That's about 500 calls with a busy signal before you get through. It helps to have an automated program to do this so that you don't wear out your dialing finger.

Then be prepared to be on hold in the queue for about 40 mins - for a 60 second conversation where they will tell you that applications from 2010 have not been sent to the minister yet, but that they have been looked at.

That was the outcome on Tuesday.
