Just wondering, can we expect an email when the Visa Status changes from 'Forwarded to Islamabad OC' to 'Processing' (Or whatever it will say).
Or do they just send the next email to say it is ready for collection?

I think it starts with GRY.. Gonna try it later.
Also, my missus submitted the paperwork yesterday in the morning, and she received a text in the evening that it has been forwarded to the british high commision. Is this standard or is it fast? lol

It isn't the one that starts with GRY, I tried it. Check your Mrs' email address, that should have an email with the correct reference number in it.
The forward to British High Commission is standard time. Ours was the same.

It should start with QML (Ours was submitted in Mirpur and our ref started with QML)

Nice to see the thriving sham marriages involving Pakistanis in West Yorkshire.
Is there anything Pakistanis wouldnt do to stay in this country. No wonder its making it so difficult for genuine applicants who are paying for this.

Completely agree with Batley's post
How low can people stoop? Disgusting. There's always a small minority in every community who are hell bent on making life difficult for the rest of us.

You may get banned for infringments so would not be part of the forum. I think you should reconsider.
A small change in name and change in logo, (I can help you make a logo image) will keep everyone happy and maybe more people will join too.
Please consider it as we would all miss you if you where banned.
Thank you immigrationboards.com

Hello everyone, My wife got her visa during the first week of this month and she will be joining me around February. Some people are say to me she has 28 days to come over to UK or she will lose her visa and start the process from fresh. Can someone please clarify this for me please.

Not true, the visa is issued from 27 months, she can traval at any time while the visa is valid. Though it is better for her to come withing 3 months of visa being issued, otherwise she would have to apply for extension when she tries to get ger indefinte leave to remain, since you have to spend the whole of two years 24 months in the UK before you can apply for ILR.
Thanks for your advice. This makes more sense!

I would not take this muppet's word, look at his previous post. Insha'allah you will never have anything you apply for go your way. Without Allah Almighty you would not have strength in your fingers to apply you jester.
