Trust your UK agent and relax. They are regulated by law and are responsible persons

No tangible advantage of knowing refernce no. at the earliest . It would be available in due course.

Thank u farah for the suggestion, but I just want to add frankly that there is one mediator who is working betwn the solicitor and me and i doubt on him whether he is delaying in lodging my application. That is the reason i want to know about courier doc No. and payment details and is there anything wrong in giving those details to me (applicant of HSMP) by him or the solicitor. If u can suggest further on this will be great.
Anyway thanks for the suggestion.
bye,
vorion.

Syedajmal--

I organized based on the suggestions I received here on this board. I put the whole thing in a binder. Each section of the application had a separate section of the binder--i.e. age, education, income, etc. Within each section, I had a table of contents. For sections that might not be as clear to the caseworker, I wrote a letter of explanation.

Additionally, for things like the income section, I attached a spreadsheet showing the exact breakdown of how much I made each paycheck, with corresponding check numbers and conversion into GBP (of course I also included the original pay stubs).

In the front of the binder, I included a main table of contents that showed everything in the entire binder, as well as a letter of explanation. I put each paper in a plastic sleeves, and labeled the divider. Basically, I wanted the caseworker to be able to look at each section, and not have any questions or have to hunt for anything.

Also, I tried to provide multiple proofs for items but without providing so much that it was confusing. This way, if I got rejected, I would have more grounds for appeal. For example, I included both my birth certificate and notarized copy of my passport. However, I was careful to not include things that were not direct evidence, or would just serve to make my application more confusing.

Giblet
I agree with you. I did the same.
I arranged everythin in separate plastic folder and addressed any explanations in separate cover letters.

organzied all evidences relevant to sections.

Also, and this is complete speculation, it seems that people who have said they are doing their applications this way seem to get an answer more quickly. I think the less work we create for the caseworker means an faster processing time.

I think you're right Giblet and logic says that too. It makes it easier for them to go through it.

I did the same way and decision did come real soon - only it was negative. lol and all I can do is laugh.

any body can comment on my review justification?

Post by tabhar2000 » Tue Oct 10, 2006 6:24 pm

pls comments on my folowing justification..........

"My name is xxxx and I applied for HSMP in xxxx, 2006. My reference number is xxxxx recently I received a refusal letter with the explanation of the causes for my refusal.
I am very much thankful to the HSMP team for considering and assessing my HSMP application. The brief summary of my application is as follows:

Application against the qualifying criteria – Over 28.
Academic Achievement claimed - 25 awarded - 25
Work Experience claimed - 35 awarded - 00
Earning Criteria claimed - 25 awarded - 25
TOTAL claimed 85 awarded - 50

I claimed 35 points in Work Experience section, but no points were awarded, as I believe the evidences provided were not found sufficient. I sincerely request to reconsider the decision because of following reasons:

My previous both job positions in last companies ( xxxxxxxx- Famous multinational Engineering Consultant of Saudi Arabia and xxxx power utility company for Karachi city) are professional engineering posts which necessarily require graduate engineering degree due to graduate level nature of job, this can be verify through British high commissions in respective countries. I have project and engineering work experience (which has already clear from my experience certificates) and this work experience of power transmission and distribution engineering field, which is specialized filed in electrical engineering discipline.

Qualifications for Electrical Engineer Substation Project in xxxxxx are required Graduate Degree in Engineering and 10 years of field experience, for Clients like Saudi Electric Company (SEC) and Saudi ARAMCO Projects. This is senior level position in Project Engineering Department.

xxxxxx Co which a power and water utility Company for two biggest industrial cities of Saudi Arabia, Jubail and Yanbu, a 3.5 Billion Saudi Riyals assets owned and have over 3000 employees working in power generation, transmission, distribution, water production Desalination Plant, Water transmission and Distribution to both cities of Saudi Arabia and Water treatment Plants in both cities for Industrial waste water and sanitary waste water. The position of Transmission Specialist is a senior level professional engineering post with graduate degree and over 10 yrs field experience is required.

Considering above facts of my employment, I would highly appreciate if you can review my score in work experience category and award me 35 points as claimed."

any comments??

Hi tabhar2000,

Please go thru' the caseworker's manual couple of time.
http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/docume ... rguidance/

Specifically
http://uk.sitestat.com/homeoffice/ind/s ... iew=Binary

What I understand from this is that they conclude if your job is a degree
level job from your responsiblities stated in the evidence you provide.

I understood from one of your posting that your experience letter was not
signed, I think it is better if you get it authorised from one of your manager.

Provide as much evidence as possible, links of your company web sites.
I produced print outs of job posting from my company website which
clearly stated the eligibility to apply for such position should be Engineering graduate.

Provide some references like your manager's contact details.

I think you can not provide additional evidence, hence only way is to
state everything in the cover letter.

Also answer any obvious question in your cover letter(don't hide any thing)
Eg- Give a convincing reason why your experience letter was not signed

Wish you all the best!

Anyone other than from USA or In-Country got decision? I have observed that In-Country and applicants from USA are getting results quite quicker than the others.

Any news of decision from other applicants who applied in September?

Congratulations Nizam. But still your case is a bit different as you mentioned that it was your second application. When did you first submit your application? Also, what about your reference number? Did you get a new reference number on second application or the same appliation reference number that was issued for the first application was used? Can you please tell me the series of your reference number? Mine is 087xxx.

Sep Application

Post by HSMP holder » Sat Oct 28, 2006 12:51 am

Here's my application:

Application sent (from US): 14th Sep 06
Acknowledgement: 18th Sep 06
HSMP Approval letter received: 19th Oct 06

I've applied for EC yet.

I am worrying about three things:
1. If I cannot find a job in the UK in my profession, will I be denied extension?
2. If I cannot get sufficient salary in the UK, will I be denied extension?
3. Does the new Immigration proposal affects my future status in the UK? I really worry that I would be re-assessed at the time of extension. Really anxious about that.

I called HO and came to know that my documents and decision letter has already been dispatched on the 18th October. I haven't received them yet. I am really worried as all my original documents are at stake. Can anyone please share the information about the time taken in reaching the documents to Karachi, Pakistan?
Regards,
