wife is pregnant, will this help her uk visa application

Post by gturner22 » Wed Dec 28, 2011 1:40 pm

my wife , who lives in the USA had her visa application refused due to lack of proof ( our fault )
we did not mention in the application that she is 3 months pregnant, would this be looked at positively or not ?
we plan to appeal with proof that ours is a genuine marriage but are not sure about mentioning the pregnancy.
any advice would be very much appreciated

Why would you consider not mentioning the pregnancy? What evidence of the relationship did you submit in the original application?

pregnancy

we did not know if the pregnancy would be viewed as a positive or not, if it could be considered as a burden on the uk.
there was nowhere on the application form to provide this info.
we provided proof of the wedding 3 weeks earlier but did not show proof of our relationship over the past 2 years.
we were naive , we knew it was a genuine application but did not prove it
