Hello,
I am planning to bring my parents to UK on a 6 months visit visa. My parents do not have any fixed asset in there country. Are the below documents are ok to submit to VFS office to get a visit visa.
Documents from my side
1) Passport Copy
2) Tenancy agreement.
3) 6 months bank statements
4) 6 months business account bank statements
5) Invitation letter
6) Accountant letter showing Salary and Dividends.
Documents from my father and mother side
1) Visa Application Form for each applicant
2) Passport
2) Any 2 address proofs
3) Photos (as per Visa guidelines)
4) Covering letter from Parents
5) Any Fixed deposits on parents name
6) Medical insurance for each applicant
7) Return Flight Ticket copy.
Are these sufficient? Please help me.
Regards

How do they generally support themselves? What, if anything, is their source of funds?

I would be sending money to them once in six months.

So they have absolutely no independent source of funds (income, pension) other than your remittances? They are (and have been) totally dependent on you sending money for their support?

Hmmm! How old are they? Have they a previous history of visits to the UK?

I think you need to show what motivation they might have to return to a country where they appear to have nothing rather than stay in the UK with their family on whom they are completely financially dependent.

In that case do I need to show any fixed asset on my father name.. Is it sufficient? or do I need to show on my mother name as well?

Previously you said that your father has no assets so what are you suggesting? I think all you can do is apply and see what happens. They can appeal if they are refused and judges at the FTT tend to be more reasonable.

My father or mother do not have a fixed asset. But can I buy one now on his or her name?
They are having Fixed Deposit in bank. Will this be sufficient if not fixed asset.

Who knows? At least they have a bank account and they should provide evidence of this.
