Biometric invitation letter a must receive by all?

Hi all,

I would like to know is it a must for all psw applicants to receive the biometric invitation letter? The reason i am asking is that i have had my biometric taken before in my home country while applying my student visa.

Would really appreciate those who have gone through the process to share their experience as this will be very valuable for me.

you have to give biometrics each time you make an application for which biometrics is a required, regardless of whether you have given them before.

Alright. Then the psw will it be in a form of a card or a vignette on my passport?

In addition, the front of the form says

APPLICATION FOR A GRANT OF LEAVE AND BIOMETRIC RESIDENCE PERMIT UNDER TIER 1 (POST-STUDY WORK) -
MAIN APPLICANT

and this is also explained on page 50 of the form.
