Should call UKBA call center to know whats going with your application, its sounds like your is pretty much delayed. As per UKBA they processing application where applicant gave their bio-metrics on or before 15 Dec. (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... tingtimes/)

The waiting time is TORTURE!!! So desperate!!! Tried to called them but effortless. It is so stupid that we cannot track our processing status!!! Totally rubbish!!!

I got my docs today 30th DEC, the website undated the processing results yesterday, which means they may start to work on 29th DEC after the Christmas.

Got my passport in the post today, with a letter saying the PSW was approved :)

Mine took approx a month from biometrics. So it seems the processing time varies - so anyone waiting more than 2 weeks, I wouldn't worry!

Hi all

Just to clarify something regarding biometric enrollment.

I had enrolled my biometric today (31.12.11) at Durham post office. After taking my photo, fingerprint and signature and pay the fee, the lady just give me a receipt and a sticker sticked onto the last page of the biometric invitation letter.

My question is do i need to send the last page with the sticker on along with receipt given by post office back to home office?

Just abit confuse about the process...thanks all for the clarification.

I dont think so.. After I took the biometric, asked the lady when the biometric information would be sent to home office. The lady answered the biometric info was sent to home office immediatly after they were taken. So I assume no need to give the receipt back to home office, at least I havent

Thanks for the reply.

So you mean Post office Ltd will sent our biometric to ukba and not us who need to do it?

Then what do we need to do or expect after enrolling biometric? I have absolutely no clue about the whole psw application process...

You are right mate, the waiting is very stressful and suffering!!!

Any idea what will come next? Is it the decision letter or documents or what else?

All you can do now is wait patiently for the outcome. If successful you will receive an approval letter within a few weeks, along with your original documents (passport) and your new BRP card.

I do agree though, the whole situation is very stressful - and given that it costs so much, it would be helpful for everybody if they could develop an online tracking system. Not only would it minimize the stress for the appilcant, it would ultimately help the UKBA too, as it would help to cut down on perpetual phone calls from us applicants asking for updates regarding our applications. Pipe dreams...

Best of luck though, and a happy new year to all :)

Yes Indeed. Totally with yr opinion. Though it may increase the workload for updating online information for UKBA, at least they can get rid of the annoying phone from us :)
