@ Sayyidi

No worries, you're welcome.

Yes I stress please provide any form of communication you have since the day you first met each other. Remember Calling cards are seen as very weak evidence I would not recommend sending these. You therefore need Emails, Skype, Money transfer receipts, Greeting cards/keep envelopes to show stamps, Travel tickets, Itemised Call records/letter from mobile company can be obtained from Pakistan mobile company to confirm calls have been made to the UK etc. Photographs of the wedding and after (honeymoon period).

Get as much evidence as you can!!!

Hey Naila.
I got married exactly one year ago on the 30th of December.
I spent one month with my wife in Islamabad, and then i went again to visit her in June, where I spent another month. I will send my ticket receipts and have sent attested copies of my visa stamps.
What was the reason for your rejection, if you don't mind me being so nosey? 8)

Re: indefinite leave to remain

RHussain07 wrote:salam all.

It's been a while since I last posted here....my wife came to the UK last year after being granted her visa in July 2010.

This forum was wonderful mashAllah along with its members advice and alhamdulilah uncle batleykhan who brings us all together - i do dua for all of you.

My question relates to a few items for the next step in my wifes journey to the uk - yep there is no stopping once you get entry clearance....next is indefinite leave to remain!!
Can any of the experienced members help with the following q's:

1. After my wife came to the UK, we had a baby a few months ago mashAllah . does our baby have to be declared as a dependent on the Set M / ILR form? - the form says declare dependants who are also applying for ILR and I dont think our baby is in this category.

No she is not classed as a dependant. You do not need to mention this on form.

2. we receive child benefit for our baby which on the Set M / ILR form is listed as a 'public fund'. The child benefit is in my wifes name and we all know spouses who get entry clearance have no recourse to public funds. Therefore have i made a mistake in having the child benefit in my wifes name or is it ok given i am a british citizen and i would have got it anyway?

Yes you (or your wife-providing she is living with you) are entitled to claim child beneit

3. how many accounts do ILR applicants show? we have an expenses account (in my name) where my wage comes into and a small savings account (joint names).

you can show as many accounts as you want where you stash your money, or an account where your wage and bils come in and out.

If i've posted this on the wrong forum (which I think i may have!) - can someone send me the correct link).

sayyidi.. it was to do wiv my job and my wageslips

refusal:

In your application you have stated that your sponsor has an income of £200 per week working at
LyonHouseWare since 16.06.11. I note that you have provided a letter from a Mr Murad Hussain
from LyonHouseWare which states that your sponsor is a retail assistant since 16.06.11. You have
also submitted payslips but these refer to N H Chef's Choice and as such I do not consider that
they refer to your sponsor's current employment. The bank statement submitted in support of your
application is from Yorkshire Bank showing £2,977.49 as of 13.09.11 this bank account shows
credits of £200.00, however, it is unclear whether these credits have originated from your sponsor's
current employment at LyonHouseWare. You have failed to provide satisfactory evidence in
regards to your sponsor's current employment in the UK as such I am not satisfied that your
sponsor is earning the income you state or undertaking the employment indicated. I am not
satisfied that your sponsor is in receipt of the income stated or in the employment claimed and I am
therefore not satisfied that you can adequately maintain yourself in the United Kingdom without
recourse to public funds. 281 (v)

please,

recite surah shurrah. This is tested. If you recite this surah daily you will hear good news soon. My wife has recited this surrah since i submitted the case here in Karachi and my visa was granted within 2 weeks.

Please recite and see the results yourself.
