Totally confused by past earning period, HELP!

Post by eh1981 » Fri Oct 06, 2006 4:44 am

Hi guys,

Just found lots ppl say the past earning should cover 12 months "IMMEDIATELY" prior to the application. My case is that the materials for past earnings are for Aug 2005 to July 2006 (including tax retrun, pay slip, bank statement, salary letter) and I am gonna file the application this Oct, that means this is not immediate 12 months prior to Oct 2006, will they reject my application?

(ps, given the 1 month lag for obtaining the tax return and bank statement, I don't think it is possible to collect all these materials and get them translated and notorized and still able to meet the "IMMEDIEATE" criterion.)

Those who are approved, please share your view, Thx

I applied in August last year. I had resigned from my job some time in June. The evidence I provided was my tax returns (As of 30th June 2005) and 12 months payslips, the last of which was June 2005.

I didn't have any problems with that so I guess the rule around 12 months is a *little* bit flexible.
