Tier 1 Dependent (Letter of Employment)

Hi All,

I am going to apply for dependent visa for my wife. In order to show stable employment I have to submit letter of employment which will confirm my date of employment, my salary.
Could any of you please guide me, do I need to put anything else in the letter as someone told me that your company should write in the letter that they request UKBA to grant my wife visa.

No you don't! You could be unemployed and it would make no difference.

One more thing with visa form we have to give sponsor letter and cover letter. The sponsor letter will be from my side and the cover letter will be from my wife side. Could you please explain this.

One more question regarding date of letter of employment, like we have to submit all the bank docs or statements not older than 30 days, is this also applicable to letter of employment as well.
